Mrs Constance Willis was a lifelong Christian pacifist. She was secretary to the Rev. Donald Soper for several years from 1929, and a member of the Peace Pledge Union from the 1930s. From 1951 to 1969 she worked as a reporter for Peace News, The British Weekly, The Friend, The Congregational Monthly, Reconciliation and local newspapers.
